Prototype: German Federal Railroad (DB) Langenschwalbach design car with trucks. Type LAB4i, 1st and 2nd class. Former BC4i Pr14, 3rd series.
Model: Era III. This car is the version with an open end platform and an enclosed vestibule. The roof and clerestory represent the rebuilt version. The trucks are specific to this car. The grab irons, walkover plates, and battery box are separately applied. The car has NEM coupler pockets with a close coupler mechanism. Length over the buffers 165 mm / 6-1/2".
