LIMA EXPERT HL2663 FS Trenitalia, 2-units pack E464 Frecciabianca livery, both motorized, ep. VI

In Summer 2021, Trenitalia introduced for the first time the "Frecciabianca" services in Sicily, with a fast link between Palermo and Messina.

This service is realized with rebuilt Gran Confort and UIC-Z1 coaches and a symmetric double traction with E464 locomotives, one on the front and one on the rear of the train, to guarantee a fast shuttle service in the head stations.

In this occasion, four locomotives of this group were repainted in dedicated livery and reserved to these services.
